IMAGES OF THE SOCIETY OF THE SPECTACLE

Daily media advertisements constantly launch new products to the public, and the landscape has become silent violence. Debo pointed out: "the elimination of personality is an unfortunate appendage that specifically succumbs to the existence of landscape rules. This existence is even constantly removing the possibility of real experience, and thus removing the discovery of personal choice.
The film "German" reflects the controllers who compete for power and desire, or the participants who work silently and experiment. This multiple switching of meaning and perspective and the continuous transformation of viewing identity constitute the psychedelic reference space in polimans's paintings and images. In the dissociation of meaning and identity, the audience feels the complex and staggered control system and control mode in the "landscape society". Polimans leads the audience into a virtual space that can experience the real existence in the form of visual works.
While reading this book, some examples given by the author inspired me to continue to deepen my project. For example, polimans's work is called the German. This work is divided into four parts. Each part is a transformation of perspective. Berlimans places the audience in the position of a monitor, pays attention to the overall situation and the identity of ruler, and becomes the manipulator behind the landscape society (Xiaonan fan, 2019). The multiple switching of perspectives and the continuous transformation of viewing identity will make the audience free from meaning and identity, feel the mode controlled by the society, and let the audience truly experience the virtual space.
In my works, I use this perspective transformation to make my viewer constantly dissociate between fantasy and reality. This dissociation will separate the viewer from his own identity and look at the hidden dangers in the visual culture and Modernity of consumerism with a rational and critical attitude.
